Brick, Cement and Asphalt Vinyl NYC

Vinyl for exterior surfaces

Not every surface is smooth, and not every wall is glass. Brick, cement, concrete block, sidewalks, and asphalt are some of the most visible surfaces in New York City.

And with the right material they can be wrapped just like a window or a wall. Two Point Eight delivers vinyl that bonds to rough masonry and pavement. We can turn the roughest surfaces into branded graphics. Most importantly, these materials hold up to heavy foot (even vehicle traffic)

Vinyl for exterior ground applications

We print these films with UV-cured inks on our wide-format printers, so the color is as vivid and durable as anything else we produce. For exterior walls we can add a matte laminate for UV and abrasion protection; for pavement we use non-skid, grit-coated films that are inherently slip resistant and need no lamination at all.

Vinyl Made for Rough Surfaces

Installation is where these projects are won or lost. Our team heats and works the film into the surface so it conforms to every brick face and mortar joint, which is what makes the graphic look painted on rather than stuck on.

Brick & Cement Wall Graphics

Exposed brick and poured concrete are everywhere in NYC, from Brooklyn warehouses and Manhattan lobbies to construction fences and parking structures. Our textured surface vinyl lets you install full color murals, logos, wayfinding, and more.

You can design your campaign on walls without paint, avoiding the permits needed for a painted mural, and without permanent damage.

When the campaign is over, the graphic comes down and the wall looks like it was never painted or adhered to.

Safe Sidewalk & Asphalt Graphics

If you’re installing a vinyl graphic on the ground, you also want it to be skid-proof. We offer noon-skid pavement vinyl bonds to concrete sidewalks, asphalt, pavers, and cobblestone. These pass ANSI/NFSI B101.1 and B101.3 wet slip-resistance standards, so it’s safe for pedestrian traffic at events, storefronts, marathons, parades, and pop-ups.

We’ve installed sidewalk graphics in Times Square and on the steps of Lincoln Center. If it’s a public surface in New York, we’ve probably wrapped one like it.

How Long Does It Last?

Tell us how long the graphic needs to be up and we’ll spec the right material. Wall applications on brick and cement can be set up for short applications with no-residue peeling, or as long as 1 to 3 years outdoors for more permanent installs depending on the film, laminate, and sun exposure.

Pavement graphics are typically built for shorter, high-traffic campaigns, usually a few weeks to a few months, and are rated for application down to 50°F and end use from -20°F to 220°F.
